LED TUBES – GLASS FREE LIGHTING, PERFECT FOR REFRIGERATION
Commonly found lights in supermarkets include fluorescent tube lighting (T5, T8, T10 and T12), which are incredibly energy wasting, prone to flickering and not to mention, the poor quality, dull lighting they deliver. By swapping out existing fluorescent tubes to LED Tubes, supermarkets will improve their carbon footprint, save substantial amounts in energy (up to 80%) and more importantly, result in better, brighter lighting throughout the store. All of our LED Tubes – T8 LED Tube and T5 LED Tube – are retrofittable, meaning that they can slot directly into existing fittings and operate independently of external control gear. SAINSBURY’S LIGHTS WELL FOR LESS
Supermarket giant, Sainsbury’s, has kept its costs under control by installing energy-efficient Goodlight LED lighting within its store car park and store canopies. The car parks have been illuminated with G360 LED SON lamps, housed inside glass streetlight lamps, whilst the G5 LED Downlights have been installed into the supermarket’s canopies – above the pathways, trolley bay and ATM machines. THE CO-OP REDUCES ITS ENERGY BILL
The Co-operative Food Group is a family run business that is run and owned by its members.
