OVO LED HIGH BAYS – FOR SPORTS HALLS
School sports halls can be given a new lease of light with energy efficient Ovo LED High Bay (IP66) with integrated SMART functions delivers highly efficient, bright light output at 150Lm/W – almost double the effectiveness of old, outdated fluorescent lighting. Housed in a sleek die-cast aluminium body with polycarbonate lens, the Ovo is protected to IK08 and features 5-Way Protection from the elements. School exteriors, including classroom exteriors, play areas, car park and pathways should be illuminated for pupils, teachers and parents to ensure safety around the school. The visibility needs to be clear so that teachers who start work early can walk safely and easily into school, especially in the colder months when the clocks go back and the daylight hours are shorter. The school also needs to be illuminated in the evenings too – for example, parents evenings, after school clubs and other activites whether inside or outside, need to be lit to ensure safety within the school. With our Goodlight LED Floodlights, school exteriors can be illuminated beautifully. These super bright LED Floodlights deliver 110Lm/W and replace metal halide, halogen and sodium floodlights from 50W to 250W. Protected to IP65, the Floodlights are waterproof and dustproof, making them suitable for both exterior and interior applications. ST MICHAEL’S PRIMARY SCHOOL – SAVES ENERGY WITH G5 LED BATTENS
St Michael’s Church of England Primary School, in Berkshire, is housed in a quaint 200 year old Victorian building, and is the oldest school in Sandhurst. The school approached Goodlight after their fluorescent twin tubes in their classrooms, hall, staff room, corridors and WCs kept failing. St Michael’s chose Goodlight G5 LED Battens to replace the interior tube fixtures which give a bright output of 110Lm/W.
