B4 Group Achieving 75% Energy Savings
One of Malta’s largest high street stores, B4 Group, has achieved immediate energy savings of 75% following the installation of Goodlight retrofit LED lighting.
B4 Group is recognised for its high quality products that include fabrics, ready and custom-made curtains, home accessories and bedding plus furniture for home and garden. With a focus on cost effectiveness and innovation, the company is also keen to live up to its environmental responsibilities and is celebrating a drastic reduction in its carbon footprint thanks to its recent Goodlight retrofit LED lighting installation.
To ensure that the interior lighting within its modern showroom helped create a bright and welcoming customer experience, B4 Group decided to specify energy efficient products from the Goodlight range. Supplied and installed by INLED, Goodlight’s exclusive Maltese distributor, the new lighting replaced an installation of 26W PL lamps with 8W LED CFL lamps. Importantly, the 600 new CFLs utilised existing fittings so the retrofit procedure was quick, simple and immediately effective.
The Goodlight range of LED CFL lamps includes models from 6W to 12W offering daylight, natural and warm white colour options. A choice of lengths – 145mm, 166mm and 181mm – is enhanced by stylish polycarbonate lenses and clear or opal diffusers. All versions feature 180° rotation, thereby allowing illumination to be directed where it is most needed across a range of applications including retail, office, warehousing, education and leisure facilities. In common with all Goodlight LED products, the CFL range provides ‘instant on’, no flicker performance and is supported by a competitive five year guarantee.
