Finalists for ‘Energy Efficient Product of the Year (Lighting) Award’

We are delighted to announce that we have been selected as Finalists at The Energy Awards 2014! Our latest generation of Goodlight LED SON Replacement Lamp, the Goodlight G360, is a design, reliability and performance-driven improvement on previous LED SON Replacement Lamps. The G360 features a 30% increase in brightness and is suitable for industrial lighting applications in high and low bay lighting, or for exteriors in bollards and street lighting.

The real innovation at the heart of this lamp tackles the crucial issue of thermal management. Long gone are the built-in fans which can present a sound issue at ground level and affect reliability through wear and tear, arising in failure. Pioneering the next generation of cooling technology, we have incorporated MagLev Fan Technology with LED in our high powered models. Heat is extremely well-managed , resulting in the operating temperatures being dramatically reduced so that the LEDs are kept super-cool and super reliable. This means amplified brightness, enhanced performance and excellent reliability.

The G360s radical, new design includes new vent ducts which create maximum airflow around the lamp to ensure that heat is drawn away from the LED and is well-managed. For the G360 range, we couldn’t find a driver good enough, so we made one! To deliver unrivalled performance, we designed the driver around the lamp. It is controllable, better equipped to withstand high temperatures and built to last.

The prestigious, gala awards ceremony and dinner will take place on Tuesday 2 December 2014 at The London Hilton Hotel, Park Lane in London. We are all looking forward to attending and hope that we will win the award.
